Eine nützliche und interessante Datenbank ist das Wortschatzlexikon der Universität Leipzig. Hier finden sich zum jeweiligen Suchbegriff unter anderem Synonyme, Relationen zu anderen Wörtern, Bedeutungsgruppen, Anwendungsbeispiele und – besonders hübsch! – Assoziationsgraphen. Unter „Wörter des Tages“ sind Wörter aufgelistet, die am jeweiligen Tag in Tageszeitungen und Newsdiensten besonders häufig vorkommen.
